Reviews of Nutlob Off of Garageband Nice energy! Heavy and driving... Song has a nice heavy and aggressive vibe with some funky bass and interesting guitar licks. Overall it's a pretty cool track. The lead vocals are ok... they have some dimension but don't feel 100% convincing. Nevertheless... it's a cool sounding track and better than most of the material I've heard on here. - sicboy from Stamford, Connecticut on 2Sep2003 Nice Beat I like the beat and energy of this song, but the actual tune doesn't stand out much. Maybe if you could customize some breaks more unique to your own style, the hooks would cut through a little better. It just kind of sounds like you sat down and jammed this tune without much thought given to the writing process.Try to temper the jamming with a few deeper, more cerebral breaks and I think you'll be on to something good. - Vindetta from Olmos Park, Texas on 2Sep2003 Original, rocking Good job, it's rare to come across something with some originality these days. The production on the track is good, and so is the performance. Reminds me a bit of Head(pe). Keep up the good work! - OneMileWish from Los Angeles, California on 3Sep2003 Heard that riff before The band has obviously got a lot of talent and potential but I don't think a lot of it was used in the creation of this song. The chorus riff i've heard about 100 times before in different songs. I liked the bridge riffs they were cool. Vocals matched the music nicely. I just think the song could have been a lot better. - violethigh from Croydon, London, United Kingdom on 21Sep2003 Hard hitting shit! It's like Chili Peppers mixed with some Hed PE and Snot. Fucking shit, this jam rocks! Can't believe you guys aren't signed already. The mix is really professional sounding and the bassist kicks some major ass. Nice crunch sound from the guitar. I do think the vocals are just a tat low. You guys have some good shit going on. I want more. Keep bashing some heads. Peace. - jteate from Atlanta, Georgia on 7Sep2003 straightup!!! Ok....a little funk , a little chunk...I like it.. Kinda has a vibe of its own..Cool riffs throughout the song...Recording is good..Drums are snappin along nicely.. Good basswork !! This would be good to see live.. Good stuff...... - zanerr from Phoenix, Arizona on 19Sep2003 YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!! I friggin love this tune!!! DONT CHANGE A THING..I dont even need to say anything else. Ok I will..The bass was KILLER!! The guitars were KILLER!!. The vocals hit the mark perfectly..Oh yeah..the drums were smokin too!!! - soapmaker from Salem, Oregon on 17Sep2003 Ever wondered what would happen if Faith No M.. This band's song was very much worth my time to stop multi-tasking and just listen. It was refreshing to hear some true potential. Although I feel the intro is a tid bit too long it is worth the wait. This song has a Faith No More feel to the rhythm section but the good rock power of Filter in the vocals. The break's lyrics seem slightly repetive but hey tell that to Rob Zombie. With these slight faults in mind, over all a truly kickin number. Really. - embraced from Cedar Bluff, Alabama on 3Sep2003 no dont rap...the riffs are fucking sweet though...you got a sweet voice, please dont rap anymore...you guys have potential. this song sounds cool as shit though. - xedmfx from Sharonville, Ohio on 2Sep2003 you may not need anyone, but you do need to s.. pretty cool song, lyrics are great, who can't relate! great bass player. i like that the guitar player isn't afriad to lay back and let the bass lead. very cool. best of luck to you. - buzboy from Harrington Park, New Jersey on 8Sep2003 the power of funk almost old school incubusy at first. the chorus sounds kind of like audioslave. yeah way to incubus in the versus. i am a huge fan of incubus but that was too mush like them, at least it changes up in the choruses and bridge. you sound good altogether though, good luck - Fourstringplr from Auburn, Maine on 2Sep2003 well... it has a good beat. The guitars were really good and the bass also sounds good. Liked the guitar riffs every five seconds. The song overall kicks ass. The vocals were good keep up the good music. - The_Dook from Frenchlick, Indiana on 9Sep2003 Cool Track I've liked the originality of the song, especcially the bass part. The guitar has some great ideas, and the vocals are great. With some good production, it could be even better. Good job. - nunodjinha from Cacem, Lisbon, Portugal on 9Sep2003 good job but worng genre this song is metal but its good..like the beat every body sounds like godsmack now - johnd1966 from Shirley, New York on 16Sep2003 not bad just sounds kinda blah to me. nothing makes this song that great though. I could hear this being pumped on the radio. good work. - downstage from Barnegat, New Jersey on 14Sep2003 Im kicked Aggressive, punishing , slamming, a good slam jam. Nothing bad to say. I would love to hear this one live so i could slam a few bodies. Tight hard rock. Nice drive to the riff. - thebandONE from West Palm Beach, Florida on 16Sep2003 Hell Yeah Love the bass line. When the guitar's kicked in it gave me a Faith No More kinda feel. Great vocals, guitar riffs are awesome, good drummer. Awesome song. Keep kickin ass. - toddspoint from Louisville, Kentucky on 11Sep2003 heavy... real heavy nicely done boys... i like it... can't see anything really wrong... this is the first good review i've given today... bass player is great. - rockstar42900 from Flowery Branch, Georgia on 27Aug2003 Panned Guitar Hooks You Cool bass sound. I like panned bass and guitars. Good vocals, entertaining tune. - Rockster from Redmond, Washington on 27Aug2003 Funky, groovy, heavy thang. Love the funky, treble bass pops. the semi-slipknot talksing vocals work well with this song. you guys sound like you are having a good time. This has to be a live crowd pleaser. - dvox from Houston (Baytown), Texas on 19Jul2003 Move aside Queens of the Stone Age. Perfect Production, the guitars come in at exactly the right time at a very comfortable volume, the contrast between the heavy base and the smooth vocals make for an interesting listen. I can't wait to hear more from these guys. - KraK from Moline, Illinois on 7Jul2003 Now that's a funky bass line! Cool intro, nice guitar riff(s). Vocals sound good, nice balance between the rapping, singing and screaming parts. Good combination of old and new school influences. Change up in the song keeps it interesting and builds the song into a climax and comes back down, cool. - hydraman from Alliance, Ohio on 9Jul2003 Ok. . . The bass line was cool, but it didnt seem to fit the song in the intro, but during the song its cool. So nice job, the song in whole seemed well constructed. The vocals are good and the change in pitch of singing is cool. - screaminfiero from Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania on 3Aug2003 Sweet Bass FLEA IS THAT YOU :-) nice bass line. the guitar progression is cool too. It sounds like spy music, which is cool obviously Cant you just imagine james bond like escaping. Ok anyway, yeah I like the riffs. The vocals need to be raised. but its good. - PlatinumAero from Latham, New York on 11Jul2003 NICE!! Its good to hear a band mix it up like this. They stray away from the standard rock song and its very refreshing. The song a killer bass intro, its funky and the tone reminds me of Primus. The song has a good groove throughout and the vocals fit really well. Lyrics are kind of the standard "pissed off" type of stuff, but it definatly rocks. - cauda from Boone, North Carolina on 17Jul2003 Excellent Bass work Vocals rule when it kicks in but not really liking the sound through the verse. It sounds like the singer is just holdin back waiting for the bridge and chorus. That's where he kicks... Music is solid. A really nice mix. The fade was done good. Keep rockin guys but maybe just put a little extra into the verse section. All in all a killer tune. - jaw67 from Candor, New York on 18Jun2003 Meet the season Well done, good format good dynamics, a definite new age production of hard rock. Nothing aimlessly different or catchy, its the same thing Im hearing produced daily, a flea base line, wretched speratic guitar licks, and a pissed off singer. This is your new age hard rock. - Bassace1232674 from Crestview, Florida, Venezuela on 8Aug2003 Funky! Nice!! I like this ALOT. rminds me of Faith No More with a bit of a janes addiction feel. Like the vocals nice volume and power. Guitars are killer!!!! the whole song just kinda punches ya in the face like an angry crack mother! NICE - Heather0712 from New Philadelphia, Ohio on 15Aug2003 Tight I like the song. The guitar diddies throughout the vocal part is very incubus like, (when they were good) The vocals sound like the singer from Snot a little bit. I love slap bass, I feel the bass is a little to basic for my tastes, however the guitar overlays make it all work well - Cyano from Reisterstown, Maryland on 27Aug2003 CUTTING IT, CHOPPING IT, SERVING IT UP STRAUG.. COOL AND STRONG, but....there's no 'bollocks' in the mix, where's the low end to rattle my speakers? Raging guitars. Nice cut time fill by drums. Good break, LOADS of energy, I can totally see it live! - Andrew_Kasab from Cary, North Carolina on 7Jul2003 Wanna listen to Funky Heavy Metal ? Yes....I want to.That slapping bass sounds Great. The guitarlick of the leadguitar is cool and noisy as it should be.The breaks are pretty clever. The singer sounds fine and is creating a powerful mood within the song. The drums are brilliant in timing and sound well !So this is a cool thang boys ...Lets rock! - silverrockets from Kleve, Nrw, Germany on 10Jul2003 Slappy! Nice bass tone. Great funky groove. Guitar work is right on. You guys got a good thing going on. Keep it up! - vitonian from Boston, Massachusetts on 19Jul2003 Make it tight and then... The intro isn't tight enough. It would be kickin' if it was. When the band kicks it in the verse it sounds tighter and then it sounds much better. Vocals are ok, nothing special. The music makes up for that though. I think it's the guitar player that makes it sound looser than what it needs to be. The bass and drums sound tight when they're playing without the guitars. - DSomething from Boca Raton, Florida on 6Jul2003 Good performance Interest Mix, I like the theme as well. Radio Length. Funky Bass guitar. Stereo Spacing of things was a little weird from here. great guitar spread. - drmad from Boise, Idaho on 6Jul2003 Good Slap Is this black label society?? Sounds good but the bass line gets annoying...Good vocals but shit bassist enough allready that line is annoying add some fills here n there.....pretty much straight forward song nothing really special - iconismo2k3 from Oak Park, California on 1Jul2003 Nice tight sound Musically I love it...vocals screamed a tad too much for my liking but still an overall good song! - mapalulis from Putnam, Connecticut on 23Jun2003 Talking bout how I don't like Cool bass line. But it didn't fit with the rest of the song!!! screaming beverage?????????? Good sound. Not my bag though, but cool. Good job - Draft from Oslo, Norway on 30Dec2002 funk rockin you know, i kind of like the song for the most part, but it doesn't seem to flow very well. the production sounds good, the music is good, but the drums don't seem to flow with the music , or maybe its the rythym itself. overall good tune though!!! great job. - tribalstance911 from Nampa, Idaho on 20Oct2002 Damn good recording Great recording. tight bass player. can tell gtr player is good, a little experimental, but that's not bad at all. better to be experimental than to sound like everyone else. you guys are actually good. that's a shock, most of these bands suck ass. - Chex from Highland, Michigan on 5Nov2002 Ya know what I like !! Oh yea !! you knows what I like !! Heavy Bass droppin the low ends with abstract guitars. There isn't a damned thing that I would do to better this song. It friggn ROcks - Nycon from Woodland, California on 24Aug2002 System Maker AaaaaaaaaaH! Bass, bass, and more, give me more! I love it! That bass line kicks major ass. The chorus here is catchy, not a fan of the melody in the verse, but that's just an opinion. This song is very tight and superbly executed. Sounds like System (That's a compliment, if you don't like them, but it sounds like you do) Production is tops, I can tell that even through stupid Realplayer! I like the faded ending, that's not done too much anymore. Good work and keep at it! - DarkenRahl from Airdrie, Alberta, Canada on 21Sep2002 Freaky Awesome Very cool ideas going on here. Mix is ok, bass and drums are a little drowning out the guitar. Vocals are perfect, reminds me of slipknots singer *kinda*. Very catchy. Just up those guitars and everything will be TITS , keep it up - Danny_Snow from Palm Beach, Florida on 30Aug2002 Nice bass work That bass playing is off the hook! The vocals just don't work for me. The guitar solos are really good. Just the vocals need work - AfterZer0 from Riverside, California on 30Aug2002 thumping bass Love it! Nice job guys. - kctattoo from Kansas City, Missouri on 15Jul2002 funky bass line tight performance, all instruments compliment eachother well. i dig that little guitar scale. vocals sound very familiar...but i cant pinpoint the singer you sound like...anyway good job on vocals. all in all a very cool tune boyz! ROCK ON - DUNAMIS from Flint, Michigan on 5Dec2002 Funky Rap slap Rock metal Nice funky bass line and build off the intro section. Guitar had some cool lines, vocals weren't really my bag, but still fit the track like a glove. - agentsofkaos from Murray, Utah on 21Aug2002 Heavy But a bit generic guys. Good vocals, solid band. Keep working on your writing. - lauderdale from Ft.Lauderdale, Florida on 6Dec2002 Bass Lick RULES!!! Awesome bass tone and line. Great guitar work. Love the heavy vocals, reminds me of Judas Priest when screamin' with second singer. Keep it up. Nice tune. - Cage33 from Sarnia, Ontario, Canada on 20Sep2002 Coolubus cool bass drum interaction in the intro. it would be cool if the guitars did something more than chunk over them..this has a real incubus feel to it. i like this..and that is rare on here.. but this is cool. - slang05 from Springfield, Missouri on 2Jun2002 Classic Hard ROck The bass player rocks and the guitars are tight. The drums lost beat a bit here and there but still kept the flow. The vocals sound pretty much like everyone else in that genre. Which is fine. Good hooky chorus. - unclevinny from Staten Island, New York on 14Feb2002 Tres Cool If the bass was slapped a little more cleanly it would help the sound. A bit more staccato. The drums and guitar are cool. And when the riff comes it ot sounds so much like a mix between Pantera and early Incubus. Its cool!! - Juan_king from Southampton, Hampshire, United Kingdom on 14Feb2002 funky Liked the funky bass intro which lead to a cool verse. Nice lead guitar. Vocals could use a little work. Chorus doesn't leave anything in your head. Revamp the way the song is sung and you will have something. - of1mind from Boston, Massachusetts on 26Jan2002 ahhh.. diminished riffs :) havent heard that since "Radioactive" buy the Firm. kewlio. strong singing. scary. no constructive critisizm..you kik my ass - kruppz from Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada on 26Jan2002 Busy Busy Busy! I don't care for screaming vocals. This song is quite busy! - PasoFino from Usa, Arizona on 22Jan2002 Tastey Tastey guitar work, especially on the fills. Your rhythm work gives this song a darker texture that flows just under the melody. The drums are RELENTLESS, and your bass player does a good job to keep up. Your vocalist (who ranges from uninspired to brilliant in various passages of this track) puts a firm exclamation point on the mix. This song is on the cusp of commercially viable and therein it has beauty. What this song says to me as an artist is that you are 100% capable of writing and executing commercially credible music. BUT, with this song, you're making a point. And sometimes when you're making a point, you understand that you don't have to be pretty about it. Nice work. I'd be interested in hearing what you're capable of when you're not pissed off at the world. - axe2grind from La Grande, Oregon on 27Dec2001 Funky one minute... I thought it was cool when that heavy sounding guitar came in the first time, because when the song starts, it sounds like it is going to be a Red Hot Chilipeppers kind of thing. It's not. It's an interesting song because the verse rhythm section is funky, but the chorus is heavy and straightforward. Cool. Good vocals, too. - WorkMan from Dickson, Tennessee on 24Jan2002 Crazy shit Hey its great to hear bands are still keeping the hardcore edge going on..keep the trax coming..put a little more effort into the drums..other than that kick ass - kotinkandy from Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 21Jan2002 bass awsome i love the bass riff at the beginning. the drums are nice as well. and then the love the distortion back into the verse bit and the vocals over that are really nice i love the little guitar lines. some of the screamz that are kinda monotone i didnt like all that much but thats me. the chorus is strong i like that. i like how it stops and drops to a different guitar line and goes into the interlude. great ideaz. rock on. - nenamagic from St. Louis, Missouri on 20Jan2002 Heavy, Funky, Good Just about pro quality on the recording of this song. This is something I could easily imagine getting radio airplay. Funky slap basslines and and a very skilled drummer make for quite a rhythm. The guitars are heavy and the riffs are controlled chaos, with heavy chugging, colorful chords, and short but sweet lead lines occasionally. The vocals were simple but strong and to the point, sort of reminded me of Rollins. Fans of this kind of music (and there are alot) would love this band. - requiem2002 from Somewhere In, Massachusetts on 19Jan2002 BASS!!! Yeah, cool groove. Great mix. I smell Korn on the vocalist's breath. Nevertheless, I love it!! Good feel and hook. You might like our band. - mffm from Bartlett, Tennessee on 8Dec2001 System of a Who? You guys sound a little like SOAD........but I'm sure you've heard that. good job overall. The bass needs less mid and more bottom for this kind of track. Vocals and guitar are solid. - jhw from Los Angeles, California on 19Jan2002 Rock on. I love the guitar licks, they are sweet. The bass is totally tight also. - DJ_Shabster from Provo, Utah on 19Jan2002 Nice Slap!!! Awsome bass and the guitar riffs are cool. You guys sound like a hardcore Incubus. Good stuff!! - GutterClown from Atlanta, Georgia on 17Jan2002 great bass & guitar cool intro too. generally, the groove on this one is pretty kickas...However, it sounds like a lot of other songs just like it. The drums don't stand out much either. All the same, this is one of the best "cookie monster" songs I've heard on this site. - floppyjohn from Washington, Dc on 17Jan2002 Loved it!! I LOVE the Bass tones. they really sound great. Vocals are amazing.. This is for sure an amazing tune.. one of the best tunes I've heard on here. Great expressions on the vocals.. the hook is great. I have nothing bad to say about this track.. I'll be checking more of your track. best of luck to you Denis - Dianisis from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on 16Jan2002 intro kool bass and drums .recording is in good shape to.hmmm i wonder if this is the right genre for this song, heavier then hard rock but good all the same, vocals are hanging in there too - deathgripbass from Bradford, Massachusetts on 16Jan2002 linkin park ranger says: be original kind of reminds me of seinfeld in the beginning, irrelevant tangent but none the less, the beat is fun. nice vocals. i like how i can actually hear the vocals. it kind of hits a little too close to linkin park, but originality is noted. nice instrumental pauses (brief but enjoyable). i like the lyrics...sometimes its a little hard to appreciate them when you are screaming them. i can feel the passion and effort put in this and that is important. good job. - radiohead33 from Pasadena, California on 28Dec2001 diggin the bass line very funky. the bass line is fuckin' killer. really really cool guitar parts. very good song. you guys are gonna get big eventually, i know it. - NickFury6 from Lubbock, Texas on 15Jan2002 Cool bass line! the bassist really stands out. This is a cool track. I really like the sparse guitar licks in the verse it make it stand out. everything comes together well on this track. Cudos to everyone in the band. - mechanizm_keith from San Francsico, California on 15Jan2002 1 tblsp Funk, 2 tblsp Rock, the rest is Attit.. I like the funktified intro, but once the guitar comes in it becomes a little confusing to distinguish what sound is what. I also think the bass riff is a little repeatative through-out the verse, maybe change it up a little every now and then. I like the chorus and bridge, and the musical break after the bridge is pulled off very well. The guitar is nice in the verse by doing the running note patterns. The vocals are great! They have a growl but not too overly screaming, which happens to be the downfall of many lyricists nowadays; Well pulled off here to gentlemen. - pandora from Dayton, Ohio on 14Jan2002 OK production cool bass line....its too bad that your recording doesn't have much bass. You guys have an original sound and its pretty catchy. Both the heavy parts and soft parts were creative. Can't complain guys! - dislogik from Eugene, Oregon on 14Jan2002 i dont need anything either!!!! sorta primus returns with pantera like the mix and matched styles in the song good riffs good job by all musicians - JAMMINJWA from Largo, Florida on 13Jan2002 Got lucky Sounds great musically - WUD from Denver, Colorado on 13Jan2002 Heavy Funk. The intro is awesome with the funk style. Good style going into the verse. Kinda rapish but that's alright. A really cool sounding Chorus. I really cool sounding Bridge as well. The vocals fit great with this song. The screaming sounds a lot like the singer from Soil (A new band out in stores now). I think this song has the potential to be a hit radio song actually. I suggest you keep pushing this song to everyone because it will kick some ass if it gets out. Keep up your style! - BlinkX from Marine City, Michigan on 12Jan2002 Loud and loud You don't need anyone? Then you don't need me. This song however needs alot and alot less. - 29days from St. Charles, Illinois on 10Jan2002 Holy Wacky BassMan Quite the intro guys. JUmp in and in your face. Excellent. Vox are excellent. The panning on the guitars are very cool. Great. I wanna hear the album, hell let me in the show already. - BarrenIslands from Triton, Newfoundland, Canada on 8Jan2002 Funky! Right from the start, this tune has rock written all over it. The whole package is top notch. Guitars are cool, bass is funky and the drums compliment everything. The vocals are gritty andright on. Production is great. - xxThePenguinxx from Detroit, Michigan on 7Jan2002 good production A good tune it's sounds as if you guys play very well together. the production is killer. I give this song two thumbs keep rockin guys. - treDog3 from Atlanta, Georgia on 6Jan2002 Hey there funky That bass punces right through, then the second guitar comes in and wow. The guitar lick I've heard a thousand times though. It's fun but not origional. Poison was doing the same thing in 86 during CC's Guitar solos. It's all he new how to play that sounded neet. Other than that. Good vocals, not screaming but aggressive(I wish some other screamers would get a clue that you can be aggressive IN KEY) Thank You. Good song, Good Mix, Good Sounds. Lyrics are typical teen agnest, I've heard that before. If you don't need anyone or anything why the hell am I reviewing this? - vanitysuicide from Nashville, Tennessee on 20Dec2001 good the bass intro fits into the song. the transitions are really strong. the vocals are strong and the singer seems very confident. the lyrics are interesting. you guys can make it. keep up the good work. i'm looking forward to your next posted song - cenuit from Appleton, Wisconsin on 5Jan2002 Bass-a-licious Cool tune, love the bass. The guitar is cool too. Very heavy and cool. - PilotDawg from Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada on 5Jan2002 Whacked out Strong I love the groove of this one. It is strong and it hits you right between the ears. I think it is lacking in the hook department. There isn't anything that I would take from this other than than the beat. The singer rocks but could stand more hook for my lazy ears. Everyone in the band is working really well together to make is forceful and grab your attention. As far as tight and mean...To cool. ORigInal for sure. Great unity. - Stardogchampion from Lawrenceburg, Indiana on 4Jan2002 ssssswwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttt very cool beats in the begining of this song. Great intro. Incredable guitar riffs. YOu guys have major talent. Vocals, guitars, bass, guitars, did I mention guitars? Drums, allllll kick ass man! Fuck yeah. Good breaks, nice variations, mutations, I hope no salutations! Did I mention, Fuck Yeah?! One thing, to make this song almost perfect, the songer NEEDS to work on his voice. He does have potential though.. Go to drone band.com and download Reason. YOU'll like it a lot. - OO@212973~jtblevins from Bel Air, Maryland on 3Jan2002 review I liked the track! good stuff you guys got going there. - SeveNfrontman from Zebulon, North Carolina on 3Jan2002 Cool Riff I like the song, not much to review, cause everyone did a good job. - kuf from Swaffham, Norfolk, United Kingdom on 3Jan2002 Nice bassline I love how the bass sounds. Very in your face. Nice guitar work too. I love the out of tune guitar. Nice chorus. Very nice song all around. Good job guys. - Pencil_Diche from Tampa, Florida on 2Jan2002 KILLER BASS! THIS SONG HAS A GOOD GROOVE. YOU GUYS SOUND LIKE GREAT MUSICIANS THE GUITAR RIFFS ARE PRETTY COOL! VOCALS ARE COOL TOOOOOOOOOO! - hammerudown from Toledo, Ohio on 1Jan2002 Good Song is good, production & mix is done well. Phat bass, crunchy guitars, & solid drums. Vocals are cool. Nice job. - horimono from Las Vegas, Nevada on 1Jan2002 My ears are bleeding this is so heavy..killer recording, great mis. Like the heavyiness. Good vocs. I 'd say this one should go to the top of the charts here. score it a 5.--Mindshaker - ax_man from Seattle, Washington on 1Jan2002 Nicely done. Like this song, rockin'. Good bass line, players are good. Vocals work well in the song & are good. - horimono from Las Vegas, Nevada on 1Jan2002 hm not bad. verrrry incubus. old school. and i like that a lot. this track is really awesome. the recurring guitar lick is great.some of the scream is a bit over the top when compared to the verse. but oh well. great tune. - CoiledMusic from Philly Area, New Jersey on 1Jan2002 turns out fine it's starts a little lame!!! with the drum/bass part that is not really impressive in the sitting together issue. but as the song goes it turns out fine, the melody is cool the mood is foine and the song rocks. just find something for the beginning and it's perfect. - guidance from Ramat Hasharon, None, Israel on 1Jan2002 Catchy Tune I really dig the overal sounds of thie band. They really have good petential for a good career. The overall beat got me rocking in my seat so good job guys. - CreepingMaster from Salt Lake City, Utah on 30Dec2001 YO MAN, A classic feel-good tune with a cool, heavy, funkadelic groove. I love it. Its got a couple of styles kinda mixin it up that compliment each other very well.Good strong vocal line, good lyrics, not cheesy like alot I hear. Really the only thing I hear wrong is maybe u repeat the same lyrics over again too much, which really dont kill the tune at all. Great production. Keep It Up! GOOD LUCK! - ladenmusic from Nobob, Kentucky on 30Dec2001 funky metal of funk i like this cool lick good bass player solid gutar player - FAKEHEALER001 from Unspecified on 30Dec2001 With a sound like Incubus... Sounds a lot like incubus style on vocals in the verse parts. Style is up to date. It's got a little funk to go with the anger rock, that's good if you want to fit in. Vocals might do better with different effects, or maybe double them up on the chorus. Overall good song with potential, though. - MyBrothersLife from Sacramento, California on 30Dec2001 Review A very cool mix of primus-like bass and incubus melody with a really heavy scream as well. very original! Very cool! I dig it! - CNCKSHUNBAND from Milford, New Hampshire on 29Dec2001 Master of Disaster Holy shit! I didn't think it could get any better then this! Don't change a thing if anything keep giving 100%, I don't hear anything but "REAL MUSIC", you are so frigging good. Keep it real and don't ever be a sell out band! Man I'd buy your CD for sure. Don't change a thing seriously! You are great... - evilpiggie from Brewer, Maine on 28Dec2001 Good Recording everything sounds good..but the drums sound to have a wierd echo.. guitars sound cool with the fade from left to right. The Vox are allright.. i like when he sounds really angry, shows alot of energy. which is very good live. - brentziola from Kelvington, Saskatchewan, Canada on 28Dec2001 It rocks! I dont usually like this kind of stuff but i DID like this song-lots of heart here-rock on-very good song length too - pizzafist from Seattle, Washington on 28Dec2001 Tearing it up Those are some kick ass guitar parts. Vocals a good, too. Angry and rough when necessary, but not overdone. Production sounds top notch, too. It's kinda like NIN meets Godsmack. This is cool. - 3rdear from Berea, Ohio on 27Dec2001 Tough and Funky Sounds good, recorded well, I like the feel of the tune...Lots 0 energy, sounds a little like Disturbed to me....The vocals are strong and the band is tight! - Spins from Chicago, Illinois on 27Dec2001 Punk Funk still LIVES!!! Very nice a good strong groove, great vocal melody, crystal clear production. Remindes me alot of infectious grooves crossed with the chili peppers. The bass player is very very funky, just slappin his way through this mofo. All in all a great song. Hope to hear more from these guys. - Ksix from New Rochelle, New York on 26Dec2001 FUNKY KORN So far so good, nice intro, cool voice. Nice riff in the verse. Real good production. I love that bass sound too. Nice tight break in the middle. - shmae from Seneca Falls, New York on 25Dec2001 Thumpin` right along! I liked the way the bass helped get the song rolling, and then then the guitar and vocals just kicked things up to the next level. One thing that i really liked was the fact that there were no major speed ups or slow downs in the song, you kept a nice rolling rythym to it. Good Job! - FuelKing from Chanute, Kansas on 25Dec2001 tough as hell! that chorus is just plain mean.. (that's a good thing.) I really like the guitars in the verses.. sparse is good. The slap bass is a nice touch too. Well done guys.. really like this one. - basslinez from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on 24Dec2001 Funkcore The bass has kind of a funk feel to it. Whoeve the bass player is they're good, its just it doesnt sound right with your music, sounds to happy for the tyle. Good vocals... - nowareband from Buffalo, New York on 24Dec2001 Punchy riffs Nice groove. The panning of the guitars was an interesting effect. Good Vocals. - BaileyonBass from Gansevoort, New York on 24Dec2001 WOOAAAHHHH! Not very creative as far as the basic riff, but other than that, I'm flabbergasted! Slick vocals, rad concept, and freakin lovely bass work! Lacks a difinitive hook, but who cares when you're dealing with funk metal? I really like the bass / guitar counterpoint in the middle of the tune. Hell yeah! - DWD from Duluth, Georgia on 24Dec2001 Slap Man thats a snappy bass sound Heavy tune and great recording wierd fills, this has it all disturbing lyrics ! this is a good listen - Glory1 from Seattle, Washington on 23Dec2001 System of a Incubus Brilliant lyrics. I love the variance in tones. Voice reminds me of incubus and system of a down. Love it. The production is awesome. It is clear and equal. Wonderful job. Guitar has a very memorable beat. Frankly I like it a lot. - DaRKcor from Collierville, Tennessee on 23Dec2001 an honest review good recording. cool production. not the most original thing i've heard. the primus-esque guitar line is a bit too much. it happens too often. but good sonically. - ricoslappy from Fresno, California on 23Dec2001 slappin yeah nice and funky crunchy the guitars sound a lil thin but its good vocals are great everything about this song rules it sounds like somthing that could go somewere - manchaca from San Antonio, Texas on 23Dec2001 i liked it. i was awed at the bass. it was very strong and sturdy and creative bass. the bassist reminded me a little of flea from rhcp. i also really liked the vocalists voice. it was a really weird mixture with the jazz/funk bass and the hard core screaming of the vocalist, but this band pulled it completely off. - carrion from Ocala, Florida on 22Dec2001 Guitarist is kooky Those guitar parts are sweet! Very tastefully worked into the song, band sounds fairly tight, good drumwork too. Vocals are a little cliche' but fit with the song pretty well. I would think about turning the vocals down a hair. - jivejody from Lancaster, New York on 21Dec2001 Rockin' Nice tight group. Do I hear a little Rush influence? Slap bass sounds good. Strong vocals. excellent guitar and drums. - mass from San Diego, California on 21Dec2001 Cool Bass! The production of this song sounds very good. The bass is the best part! (I'm a bass player so I'm a little bias!) I think you have a good, tight, sound. I am definetely going to check out more songs from you guys. I would totally buy this cd if you have more songs like this. Great job! - J_E from Logan, Utah on 21Dec2001 got potential good bass line good energy.over all not a bad song - stacks from Vancouver, Bc, Canada on 18Dec2001 Where's the potatoes? Interesting intro there, leads into the song quite well. The vocals are kind of cool, and so are the guitar parts. The Bass is nice and fat, and the drumming is quite full sounding to. THe song isn't that catchy but has caught my attention, maunly becaus eof the loud vocals which suit it quite well. - Azumuth from Wellington, New Zealand on 17Dec2001 nice funky feel the beat is good the music is good keep it up - Bettyabecker from Forked River, New Jersey on 16Dec2001 SOUNDS LIKE SOUNDGARDEN ON CRACK !!! OK LIKE THE BEGINNING AND I LIKE THE LEAD VOCALISTS VOICE UNTIL HE STARTS SCREECHING.. NOT ENOUGH POWER IN HIS VOICE.. SOUNDS LIKE HE IS REACHING.. BUT HE DOES HAVE AN INTERSTING WAY OF DELIVERING THE VERSES.. HIS VOICE WORKS WELL ON THE VERSES.. HE LOSES ME ON THE CHORUS... TOO SLOPPY AND NOT ENOUGH IMPACT...SONGS GOT MARKET VALUE FOR SURE.. CATCHY.. JUST CLEAN IT UP A BIT IN THE CHORUS... IT SEEMS LIKE THE VOCALIST IS TRYING TO HARD.. BUT OTHER THEN THAT IT WORKS WELL AS A SONG.. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR FUTURE PROJECTS AND SONGZ... - Starrblaze555 from Thornwood, New York on 16Dec2001 Great Bass Great bass, and the guitar adds to it too! Overall nice beat. this song kicks ass! - johndesmond from Orange, Massachusetts on 15Dec2001 That's some funky ass shizzynit!!! Nice song!! Panning on guitar is tight!!! ALL AROUND FINE SOUNDING PIECE!!! - Switchpin from Denver, Colorado on 14Dec2001 ENGAGING good, clean players everyone played well and the mix sounded great but somewhere in the middle of the song, i lost it it's not that anything was out of place or out of key and there was no sign of inexperience,,,,,,, i just can't explain it,, maybe it's me...... but somewhere in the middle,,,,,, for lack of a better phrase,, it got old bill black - billblack from Clarkston, Georgia on 14Dec2001 In your face!!! Great in your face energy. The guitars are way thick. The singer is very cool with great tone and phrasing. Good bass and drummer. The voice reminds me a bit of the guy from System of a Down. Great production and performance. - matthewm from Nashville, Tennessee on 12Dec2001 New Differant Music The song I am listenign to is very good. The only part I don't like is the guitar repeating over and over again which is no big deal. The singers voice is completely awesome. You put together a great beat on this song.
